Indoor Wall Farm Features
The Z210 indoor hydroponic wall farm includes many modern and innovative features to turn your indoor farming into an amazing experience.
Here are the top features for you:
Fully Automated Watering –The integrated pump turns on every 30 minutes to water the plant’s roots and then it goes off again. This timed cycling is important to keep the plants nourished and hydrated while avoiding over-watering.
Fully Automated Lighting– The LED grow lights are also automatically switched on and off to simulate the natural rhythm of the sun and maximize plant growth.
Two Growth Media– You can choose between 2 growth media. The first is clay pebbles, which are ideal for growing fruits and larger plants. The other is grow sponge, an eco-friendly material. Pebbles come with 5cm pods while grow sponges come with 3cm pods. Each package includes 64 clay pods and 120 grow sponge pods.
Modular System– A modular design provides complete flexibility by enabling you to either start small with just one or two layers or go for the full four layers. Your choice.
Stylish Design– This indoor wall farm comes in a modern style that will beautifully fit into most modern houses or apartments. It is made from nice and durable materials that look good next to a fridge, microwave oven, or TV.
Adjustable LED Lights– Its flexible design makes it easy to adjust the height of the led lights as your plants grow, thereby maximizing their overall growth efficiently.
Water Storage Alarm– A built-in smart sensor will alert you once the water volume in the storage tank goes below the preset minimum.
Large Capacity Tank– The wall farm comes with a 23.8-liter large tank, plus three smaller 8-liter tanks for the second to fourth farm levels.
Benefits of Indoor Hydroponic Farming
The modern art of hydroponic farming offers plenty of advantages over traditional farming methods. Here are the major ones:
Grow Your Own Food – This is a dream come true for many, even if you are just growing vegetables by yourself. Growing your own food gives you that sense of accomplishment and connection with the earth.
Maximize Space– If you live in an urban area with limited space but still want to grow your own food, then you will appreciate the indoor wall farm. Its vertical design means it needs little space to grow lots of produce.
Conserve Water – Hydroponic farming enables you to use up to 95% less water than conventional farming methods.
Get Higher Yields – Plants grow up to 50% faster in hydroponic systems and produce more yield than conventional farming methods.
No Weeds – This is one of the beauties of hydroponic agriculture.
Healthier Plants – Enjoy fresh produce without chemicals, pesticides, and GMOs.
Less labor– The system is fully automated, so all you have to do is fill the water tank or adjust light levels if there is a need. Else, just plant and harvest.
Micro Climate– Farming indoors with the automatic LED lighting and watering system means you can grow food all year without worrying about the seasons.
Cleaner Produce – There is no dirt to deal with. Everything is cleaner and better.

How This Hydroponic Garden Works
Hydroponic agriculture is the cultivation of plants without using soil. Instead of soil, a solution of water and fertilizer is periodically passed through the plant’s roots to provide the needed nutrients they would have gotten from the soil.
To achieve this water-fertilizer distribution, the Z210 Vertical Growing System stores the solution in its 23.8-liter large tank, which is located at the bottom of the system. A pump then periodically pumps the water to the highest levels, so it can gently flow back down into the large tank by gravity.
As the solution passes each of the higher layers, the grow media traps some of the water and nutrients for a while, giving the roots enough time to absorb what they need. The grow media must remain a little moist, but not wet. Else, the plants’ roots may rot away. That is why the water is pumped every 30 minutes.
Another important part of this hydroponic garden is the LED lighting. LED stands for Light Emitting Diode and is available in many colors, which stimulate different functions in plants.
These LED lights provide the lighting that plants need for photosynthesis, making them able to grow well indoors. Photosynthesis is the use of light, water, and carbon dioxide by plants to produce sugar and oxygen.
The Z210 vertical hydroponic Planter’s LED lights include extra red LEDs to maximize plant growth.
How To Grow Crops With The Indoor Wall Farm
Setting up your indoor wall farm is simple and can be done by nearly anyone. However, you will have to first choose one of two methods depending on the growth media – either clay pebbles or grow sponges.
Following is a step-by-step guide for each of the growth media:
Setup A With Clay Pebbles
Growing with clay pebbles is ideal for bigger plants and those with large roots. Here is the step-by-step guide to growing your produce with clay pebbles:
- First wash the clay pebbles to make sure they are clean, as they can be reused.
- Fill the pebbles in the included large pods.
- Sow your seeds inside the pods and place into the farm.
- Now fill the wall farm’s tank with the nutrient solution.
- Once the seeds sprout, switch on the system to automate growth.
- Top up your wall farm tank as needed from time to time.
- Also, adjust the lighting heights to suit your plants’ height.
- Periodically make sure your plants’ roots can touch the nutrient solution.
- Harvest your produce when ready.
Setup B With Grow Sponge
Following is a step by guide to growing smaller plants such as vegetables with this indoor wall farm.
- Soak your grow sponges for a while in some water.
- Once soaked, plant your seed inside the hole within the grow sponge.
- Put the sponge in its holder and add it to the farm.
- Fill your wall farm tank with the nutrient solution.
- Switch on the system once you see the seeds have sprouted.
- Top up your wall farm tank as needed from time to time.
- Also, adjust the lighting heights to suit your plants’ growth and height.
- Periodically make sure your plants’ roots can touch the solution.
- Harvest your produce when ready.
